We're excited to introduce Custom Reports in Benevolate. Custom Reports give you greater flexibility in how you view and analyze your data, allowing you to build reports tailored to your organization's specific needs.
Modules Available for Custom Reports
You can build reports across the following modules:
- Members
- Payments
- Events
- Campaigns
- Reminders
- Facility Management
- Recurring Payments
You may select one module or combine multiple modules within a single report.
Creating a Custom Report
Select Your Modules
To begin, select the module or modules you want to include in your report. In this example, we'll use Members and Payments.
This allows you to combine profile data with related payment information in one unified report.
Choose Your Columns
Next, select the specific data fields you want included in the report. For example, using Members and Payments, you might select:
These columns determine exactly what information will appear in your report.
Apply Filters and Sorting
Filters allow you to narrow down your results to match specific criteria. Using this example, you could apply filters such as:
You can also apply sorting, for example, sorting by Payment Date from newest to oldest, to organize your data in a way that makes it easier to review.
Customize and Save
Before saving, you will name your report, select an icon, and choose visibility settings.
You can choose to keep the report private (visible only to you) or make it shared so others in your organization can access it.
Saving and Refreshing Reports
Once saved, your Custom Report will automatically refresh each time it is opened. This ensures you are always viewing the most current data without needing to rebuild or export the report.
Viewing and Managing Reports
Custom Reports can be viewed in two formats:
- Card View, a visual layout that makes it easy to quickly identify reports.
- List View, a streamlined list of all saved reports.
From the custom reports page, you can view a report, edit a report, duplicate a report, or delete a report.
Duplicate functionality is especially helpful when you want to create a new version of an existing report without starting from scratch.
