Benevolate began with firsthand experience.

The idea came from Manuel, who spent years serving as an Executive Director for synagogues and consulting with nonprofits on fundraising and operations. Across every organization, he saw the same challenge: existing CRMs were clunky, outdated, and difficult to use. Teams were forced to juggle multiple systems just to get through the day.

Manuel met Rishab while Rishab was serving as a board member for a local nonprofit. Their conversations quickly turned into a shared vision to build a modern, intuitive platform designed around how mission-driven organizations actually work.

That vision became Benevolate.
