Pastoral Care
Care that continues beyond the conversation.
A visit. A thoughtful question. A call when you said you would call. We know how much these moments matter.
Benevolate helps you keep visits, notes, and follow-ups organized, so you can give your attention to the person in front of you, and be ready for the next conversation.

The person comes first
Behind every request is someone who wants to be heard.
Someone reaching out may be asking for a visit, a conversation, or simply a little company. Their request deserves a thoughtful response.
We care about helping you make space for those moments. That starts with making it easier for someone to reach out, for your team to know who is responding, and for the next step to stay in view.
Remembering is part of caring
The little things you remember can mean a great deal.
What did they want to talk about? What did you agree to do next? When would they welcome another call?
Those details give the next conversation a place to begin. When visits and notes stay together, you can look back, understand what has changed, and prepare with more context.
And when another member of your care team steps in, the information they are permitted to see can help them continue thoughtfully.

FAQ
Questions teams actually ask
Is this HIPAA compliant?
We do not claim HIPAA compliance on this page. Pastoral care in Benevolate is for congregational and organizational care workflows, with role-based access, not medical-record software.
Who can see notes?
Access is permissioned. We will show the actual role controls in a demo rather than promise a lock that your configuration does not use.
Can someone submit a request without calling the office?
Yes. A public or member-facing request can enter the care workflow so clergy and care teams receive it without a hallway conversation that never got written down.
You bring the care. We help you keep it connected.
Show us how your team arranges visits, records notes, and follows up. We’ll walk through how Benevolate can support that work.
