Customer story · Jacksonville Jewish Center

A partnership that kept growing after onboarding.

For Jacksonville Jewish Center, getting started with Benevolate’s Religious School module was the beginning of an ongoing conversation. As the team prepared for registration and the school year, their experience helped shape the product, and how we supported them along the way.

The community behind the work

Built around the people who make school happen.

Religious school brings together families, teachers, administrators, and the many details that connect them. The people coordinating that work know what a smooth experience needs to look like, even when those needs are difficult to capture in a software checklist.

Jacksonville Jewish Center brought that understanding to its work with Benevolate. Their team helped us see the school through the eyes of the people using it: parents registering children, staff preparing for the year, and teachers getting ready for class.

That perspective became central to the collaboration.

Ari’s role

Ari Mungin helped turn real experience into a better product.

Ari Mungin played a vital role in that process. He explained how the school worked, tested changes, raised questions, and returned with detailed feedback as the team began using the module.

His input gave us more than a description of what needed changing. It helped us understand why it mattered to JJC’s staff and families.

Working with Ari and the wider team, we could discuss an approach, put it into practice, and review how it felt in everyday use. Their involvement helped us refine the Religious School module around real school operations.

Working together after onboarding

There was room to keep asking, adjusting, and improving.

JJC was already onboarded when additional needs emerged. We were happy to work through those changes with the team.

Some conversations began with a new request. Others started when something did not behave as expected, or when using the system revealed a clearer way to organize the work. Calls, testing, and follow-up gave both teams a way to work through those questions together.

JJC contributed the context. Benevolate brought those needs into product and engineering discussions, worked on changes, and returned them for further use and feedback. The process depended on both teams staying involved.

Through the school year

The conversation followed the school into daily use.

As the focus moved from registration to teacher preparation and the start of classes, the collaboration continued.

After registration opened, Ari described the form as user-friendly and shared further feedback from families’ experiences. As teachers began using the system, their needs brought new questions about access, classroom work, attendance, and reporting.

The relationship continued through those stages. There was more to learn as the school put the module to work, and JJC’s feedback remained part of that conversation.

“Thank you for all of your work and dedication to ensure our community’s success.”

What this relationship means

Their input helped shape what came next.

Jacksonville Jewish Center’s contribution went beyond getting its own team started. The time Ari and his colleagues spent explaining, testing, and sharing feedback helped Benevolate better understand the work a religious school needs its software to support.

That is the kind of relationship we value: open communication, practical collaboration, and a shared commitment to making the experience better for the community using it.
